Durban, South Africa F and G Sourcing Specialist Full time

Our **FMCG Exports Client** is currently looking for a **Payroll Admin** based in **Morningside**

They will be responsible for the entire Payroll function, HR Administration and assisting with general recruitment well
Skills and Experience:

- At least **10 years’ experience as an HR or Payroll Administrator**
- **Payroll - foreign currency (up to 100 staff)**
- Extensive experience with the **Sage 300 payroll system**
- A Degree or Diploma in Human Resources would be advantageous
- A good understanding of general **HR and Recruitment policies and procedures**
- Knowledge of **relevant legislation including but not limited to LRA, BCEA, OHSA, EE, POPIA, SARS, BBEEE and UIF**
- Experience in the management of **SDL,**Employment**Equity,**Workman’s Compensation, and administration of provident funds and medical aid.**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- **SARS returns - EMP201, EMP501 & IRP5’s**
- **Ideally have experience working in a shipping or exporting company**
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport

Key Responsibilities Payroll:

- Responsible for all aspects of managing employee’s salary data
- Responsible for the monthly preparation and processing of Payroll.
- Ensure company leave policies are adhered to.
- Payroll monthly reporting
- Internal and external statutory requirements
- SARS returns - EMP201, EMP501 & IRP5’s
- Audit Requirements
- Monthly general Ledger reports, reconciliations, and payroll analytics
- Stats SA submissions
- Annual COIDA submission
- Medical Aid, Pension/Provident, Gap Cover and IPP and Group Life administrations

HR
- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
- Revise company policies
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
- Answer employee’s queries about HR-related issues

Recruitment:

- Compile job advertisements
- Post adverts on various recruitment platforms including online
- Screen all CVs and compile a shortlist
- Conduct interviews
- Conduct reference checks as well as credit and criminal checks if required
- Analysis of psychometric assessments
- Onboarding of all new staff including induction training

Salary range is estimated at Market-related R15 000 -R20 000 depending on experience
