Demand Planner

**Auto req ID**: 265644BR **_ Main Purpose_** - Plays a lead role in ensuring that product demand forecasts are created, reviewed, published and refined when appropriate._ - Collaborate with Commercial Sales and Marketing (both locally and for export markets) to create demand plans at the required level for supply planning and to review the performance of these forecasts (FCA and BIAS) to drive improvement. Work with cross-functional teams to create robust demand plans for new product launches. Manage abnormal demand on a day to day basis and give guidance to supply teams on unconsumed demand._ **_Accountabilities: - ** - _Collaborate with Statistical forecasting SSC team to develop these forecasts._ - _ Understanding and verification of advanced statistical modelling changes to the baseline, as proposed by SSC Statistical forecasting_ - _ Manage the forecast enrichment process (Promotions and NPD’s) and align volumes with Sales & Marketing_ - _ Analyze relationship between promotional activities, new products introductions and seasonal impact on product demand to achieve accurate forecast. - _Track all promo activities and their effectiveness related to volumes & timing accuracy_ - _ Perform demand and supply control: Ensure that unconstrained demand forecast is aligned with supply ability**_“PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"_**_ - ** **Qualifications/Requirements**: - _ Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics_ - _ 4-6 years in a Demand Planning role_ - _ 6 Years Experience in FMCG - _Advanced Excel Skills_ - _ Planning Systems indepth Knowledge e.g SAP, JDA, Demantra_ - _ Experience with Datawarehouses eg BI, BW_ - _ Market Analytics Background_ - _ Statistical modelling Background_ - _ Accuracy when working with numbers_ - _ Ability to analyse complex data - _Great communication skills - _Negotiation skills_ - _ Problem sovling skills_ - _ Critical Thinking skills_ - _ Deadline and Results driven_ - _ Well organized - _Great Planning skills_ **Relocation Eligible**: Not Applicable **Job Type**: Regular
