Job Purpose
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and administration of the marketing department. He/she is responsible for developing and implementing marketing activities, managing regular advertising campaigns in line with approved business plan under direct supervision of the Departmental director.
The marketing manager will also be responsible for strategy development and execution of all BBBEE transformation interventions across the organization; ensuring that the company and all affiliates complies with legislative requirements and aligns to the business strategy; supporting development and implementation of the EE plan

Key Responsibility Areas
Daily Duties

Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones.
Increasing brand awareness and market share.
Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales and finance department.
Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management.
Evaluate effectiveness of marketing activities and recommend improvements
Responsible for supporting BBBEE Transformation Lead with the execution of all BBBEE transformation interventions across the Company Group - ensuring that Company complies with legislative requirements and aligns to the business strategy.
Responsible for supporting development and implementation of the EE plan.
Ensuring Legislative compliance and monitor transformation and BBBEE legislative changes and updates
Ensure audit and verification processes of Company's BBBEE contributions are conducted on an annual basis.
Execution of detailed BBBEE transformation implementation plans and initiatives

Improve BEE transformation scorecard
Track and monitor identified measures to improve EE

Position Requirements

Experience
Minimum of three years’ experience as a marketing manager
Qualifications/ Certificates
Matric/ Grade 12
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
Other related certificates

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and organisational abilities.
Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside the organization.
