We are looking for a MS Contracts Manager for Power Operations in the Fourways area.

**Requirements**:

- A Contracts Management qualification or related business degree or diploma
- BA Law Degree and/or a Technical Degree related to Power is an advantage
- Certifications: Project Management Professional, Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Six Sigma
- At least ten years’ work experience in telecoms industry, which includes:

- Contracts and SLA management experience: at least 10 years
- Project management experience: at least 5 years
- Cost accounting: at least 5 years
- Customer service: at least 5 years
- People management experience: at least 5 years
- Technical competencies could typically include:

- Computer literacy, e.g., MS Office suite; ATC SA’s systems, such as Oracle Analytics, and the ticketing system (Sales Force)
- Cost accounting and budgeting skills
- Risk management ability
- Project management skills
- Process management skills
- Analytical skills
- Research skills (to stay abreast of new trends and developments in the industry)
- Business report writing skills (including presentation skills)
- SLA management skills
- Power-related technical skills

**Responsibilities**:
**SUMMARY**:

- To manage the SLA contract with the Managed Services Power provider
- To be the Principal Customer Engagement Manager
- To assist with developing the market and commercial strategy for the Power business in the company, that will drive scale and lease-up.
- To be responsible for the financial performance of third-party supplier and vendor contracts of the Power business.
- To be responsible, together with the Technical Manager, for the operational performance of the Power business.
- To ensure good governance, compliance, and risk management
- To ensure that Power Operations fulfil their Contractual Outsourced Third-Party responsibilities, and operate within the company’ Global and Africa sustainability targets.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:
**Power business strategy execution**
- In conjunction with the Head of Power Operations, formulates the contract management strategy for the Power business, which is closely aligned to the Regional Power product roadmap and standardisation.
- Enforces the Power-as-a-Service Service Level Agreement with the principal contractor and any other contracts outsourced to third parties to fulfil the company obligations to customers.
- Manages the implementation of the market strategy ( performance, and operations).
- Works with the Sales team on revenue commitments and the growth of the business, including site scale growth and lease-up.

**Financial performance of the Power business**
- Institutes optimal verification and approval mechanisms for vendor invoicing.
- Responsible for the Operational Power Budget related to Third Party, Outsourced Contractual costs that make up the OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Works closely with Finance to understand and own the overall cost model and how the contractual costs contribute to this both positively and negatively.
- Monitors and tracks financial performance specifically for the Outsourced Third-Party Contractual costs, in conjunction with the Finance team.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Power business unit is operated within the expected revenues, direct expenses, overhead expenses, and profit margin of the contractual costs.

**Power business operations**
- Responsible for the optimal performance of all Power Operations in the field.
- Co-ordinates daily, weekly monthly performance activities and decisions with the customer and MS vendor.
- Provides reporting to the function and the customer.
- Administrates all job card approvals for Power Operations.
- Administrates all PR/PO requests for Power Operations.
- Administrates all Supplier Portal approvals for Power Operations.
- Conducts root-cause analysis with the MS Contractor and Technical Team.
- Maintains Power Asset Data to protect and enhance the company’s assets.
- Establishes a robust and functional set of processes, procedures and governance for the successful delivery of the Power business.
- Reports regularly to the Head of Power Operations on the Power business’ performance.
- Engages and collaborates with internal teams to deliver the Power business operations.
- Ensures the NOC (Network Operations Centre) is aligned to the PaaS (Power as a Service) business and customer commitments.

**Risk management**
- Responsible for identifying, assessing, and controlling operational, financial, legal and security risks around the Power strategy of the business.
- Responsible for managing resources to minimise, monitor and control the impact of risks identified.

**Sustainability**
- Responsible for working with the regional team and the Head of Power Operations to ensure that the approved Power business has a roadmap for emissions within the Global emission targets.
- Responsible for operating a Power business within the required emissions targets.
