**Store Assistant - STORE IN PAULSHOF (CANINE AND CO)**

Canine & Co offers world class pet products to South African pet-lovers. Our stores offer a personal touch by supplying products that we use within our own fur families, providing the best possible product for each pet in his/her individual situation within their human family.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greets and interacts with customers.
- Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Ensure high levels of consumer satisfaction by providing superior sales service.
- Demonstrates and explains products, selecting and suggesting options suitable to focus customer needs.
- Answer customers’ questions about products.
- Actively seek out consumers shopping in store and offer assistance.
- Assists customers with purchase decisions.
- Retrieves products from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, places special orders.
- Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
- Processes returns and exchanges.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensure racks are fully stocked.
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers.
- Any other ad hoc duties.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transport to the store in Paulshof
- Retail experience
