**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 / equivalent
- NQF level 6 would be advantageous

**Experience and Requirements**:

- 3-5 years experience as an Inventory Controller
- 3-5 years Kanban experience is essential and not negotiable
- Computer literate Word / Excel spreadsheets
- Reside on the East Rand
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- A stable work record and contactable references
- Own Reliable transport
- An active advocate for continuous improvement
- Ability to control all work processes i.e., finding parts, moving parts to 2nd phase, collecting parts from sub-contractors, inspections, and on-time deliveries
- Experience in managing successful teams

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret customer plans and requirements
- Accurate planning of projects
- Regular audits of inventory
- Timeous stock replenishment
- Customer analysis to identify ordering trends
- Maintain a healthy relationship with suppliers
- Monitor the Kanban board to ensure that work items are completed on time and in full.
- Proactively identify any work disruptions and take steps to resolve them.
- Attend to customer and quality complaints on site if required
- Initiate regular and continuous improvement activities across the organisation
- Schedule and conduct regular team meetings so that the team is on the same page on project progress
- Ensure targets are met
