**Bookkeeper Internship Vacancy (1-2 Years Experience)**

Reapsew is looking for a **Bookkeeper Intern** to join our team This role is perfect for someone with **1-2 years of experience** in bookkeeping and a keen interest in procurement processes, including tenders and RFQs. If you have a strong eye for detail, excellent financial management skills, and knowledge of accounting software, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Recordkeeping** - Record all transactions, maintain ledgers, and organize financial documents.
- **Procurement for Tenders & RFQs** - Assist in preparing tender documents, supplier quotations, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable** - Process supplier invoices, track payments, and reconcile accounts.
- **Bank & Cash Reconciliation** - Ensure financial accuracy by reconciling bank statements and petty cash transactions.
- **Payroll Processing** - Calculate salaries, deductions, and ensure compliance with PAYE, UIF, and other tax regulations.
- **Tax Compliance & Reporting** - Prepare VAT, PAYE, and other tax returns while assisting with financial audits.
- **Financial Reporting & Budgeting** - Generate financial reports, assist in forecasting, and provide insights for decision-making.
- **Inventory & Asset Management** - Track stock purchases, maintain asset registers, and conduct reconciliations.
- **Compliance & Internal Controls** - Ensure adherence to financial policies, prevent fraud, and support external audits.

**Requirements**:
**1-2 years of bookkeeping experience** (internship or entry-level)
Proficiency in **accounting software** (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Pastel, SAP)
Understanding of **procurement, tendering, and RFQs**
Knowledge of **tax regulations** (VAT, PAYE, SARS compliance)
Strong **analytical, organizational, and time management skills**
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
