**Requirements**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably an advanced Diploma

or Bachelor degree in a property management or built environment
or related field
- 8 years or more relevant experience in a property management or

related field at a middle management level
- Computer proficiency in MS Office suite
- Must be in possession of a valid driver license.
- Must be able to be called upon in case of emergencies;
- Must be prepared to enter high-risk areas with security provision.
- Knowledge of Project Management principles and practice
- Experience with ArcGIS and SAP Real Estate would be

advantageous
Key Performance Areas
- To lead the development, maintenance, enhancement and

integration of the Immovable Property Asset Register System of the
City of Cape Town
- To lead the establishment, management and administration of the

immovable property asset register Master Data model
- To lead the establishment of the immovable property asset register

and effectively manage and administer the data contained therein.
- Undertake peer review in respect of branch outputs, business

planning and quality assurance and participate in
transversal/integrated work-stream peer review mechanisms
- Develop, implement and maintain stakeholder management &
communication methodology for immovable property asset
management
- Exercise financial control, oversight, investigation and analysis and

management of the staff compliment of the Section.
