**Job Overview**

As a Barista at Wiesenhof Coffee Shop, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages. You will be responsible for preparing coffee and other drinks to Wiesenhof standards, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and contributing to the smooth operation of the coffee shop.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, specialty drinks, and teas, according to Wiesenhof recipes and quality standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.
- Take accurate customer orders, process payments, and handle cash or POS transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas in line with health and safety standards.
- Restock and replenish supplies, including coffee beans, milk, pastries, and other items.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in training new team members when required.
- Promote Wiesenhof’s brand by recommending menu items and upselling where appropriate.
- Handle customer complaints or queries professionally, escalating issues to the supervisor or manager when needed.
- Support the overall team by performing additional tasks, such as assisting with stock deliveries and shop closing/opening duties.

- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation methods and passion for the coffee industry.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a hospitality/retail environment is advantageous (training will be provided).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused personality.
- Must **NOT have completed Matric**:

- Must live close to the coffee shop area

Pay: From R28,79 per hour
