**Position Overview**:
**One of the world’s leading professional service **firms **is seeking to employ the expertise of a **Tax **Compliance Consultant**.

The **Tax **Compliance Consultant **will be responsible for the preparation of** personal income and provisional tax returns. **One will also be tasked with the reviewing of correspondence from SARS.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- **_Administration of individual clients_**_ whilst ensuring that the clients are well maintained and necessary _**_KPI’s are being_**_ _**_met_**_._
- _Providing _**_regular reporting and feedback_**_._
- **_Establishing and maintaining relationships_**_ with clients and engagement teams._
- _Ensuring that individual client’s _**_annual and provisional tax returns are accurately prepared._**:

- **_Verification_**_ _**_of income tax assessments_**_ and _**_objection to incorrect tax assessments_**_._
- _Ensuring that _**_SARS timelines_**_ are being met._
- _Ensuring that prompt _**_and accurate responses are prepared to SARS requests and correspondence_**_._
- **_Keeping abreast with changes in tax legislation_**_, as well as _**_SARS policy and procedures_**_._
- _Providing _**_tax services to clients_**.

**Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- A **completed Accounting Qualification**.
- A **minimum of 3 years’ experience** in a **Tax Compliance and Accounting environment**.
- Sound **knowledge of Personal Income Tax**.
