As the Technical Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for the procurement of technical, production, and project-related purchases and procurement-related administration.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Forecast purchases based on sales and production plans.
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Review prices, product specifications, and lead times from various suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices.
- Maintain and update supplier database.
- Coordinate and communicate purchases, collections, and deliveries with all parts of the business.
- Manage outstanding orders and deliveries.
- Standardise procurement procedures, reduce processing time and improve delivery schedules.
- Place purchase orders.
- Obtain supplier price lists.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders.
- Prepare purchase contracts.
- Implement and manage a stock-keeping and procurement system for on-site stores.
- Ad Hoc or other related duties as assigned.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Qualifications**
- A degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous

**Experience**
- ±3 years’ work experience of which at least 2 years in a procurement position.
- Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain will be an advantage

**Other specific requirements**
- Full professional proficiency in Afrikaans and English (speaking and writing)
