**What will you do as a Commercial Analyst (LNG)?**

As a Commercial Analyst (LNG) you will lead the revenue related processes together with all your colleagues in South Africa on our ambition to be the best in Port at leading locations.

**What do we expect from you as a Commercial Analyst (LNG)?**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus
- 5+ years project development or commercial experience especially in the LNG import infrastructure space
- Experience in LNG Contract negotiations
- Knowledge Onshore LNG Terminal Development & Floating LNG Terminal Development
- Understanding of Environmental impacts of LNG terminals
- Terminal experience preferred
- Well versed in Business Development Activities in LNG Regas Infrastructure Space
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally

**What does your day look like?**

Some of the operational elements of the Commercial Analyst (LNG) include:
**Open Season**
- The LNG Commercial Analyst owns the Open Season process and ensures all communications with potential customers is done timely, professionally, and in a manner that leads to the best commercial outcomes for the project.

**Commercial Contracts**
- The LNG Commercial Analyst will also be responsible for negotiating contracts together with the LNG Project Developer

**Your core responsibilities **include (but not limited to) the following**:

- Terminal Use Contracts with customers worth USD 1500 - 2500 Million
- Customer Coordination Agreements
- Any other contracts necessary to support the project's completion
- Identify customers, understand customer and industry issues, and develop and propose value added solutions
- Understand regulatory environment, identify and seek applicable subsidies and grants;
- Work with the finance team to develop financial models and perform investment feasibility studies
- Prepare/draft customer proposals, including coordination and development of technical and commercial aspects, financial modelling and pricing
- Prepare internal investment proposals and other key decision materials for executive review
- Participate to Vopak’s marketing efforts for example, in presenting to conferences
- Provide input on Vopak’s global strategy
- Build and maintain a relevant network to position Vopak for existing and new business opportunities
- Gather market insights that support long term terminal investments
- Early signal potential issues based on local leads and strategic positioning
- Evaluate and compare business opportunities, partnerships, customers and preferred locations in line with the company and divisional strategy
- Manage internal and external stakeholders during different stages of project development
- Define and write investment proposals in line with Vopak Project Management
- Develop a phased sales process to receive customer commitments by signing NDA, Letters of Intent, Heads of Agreement, etc. and take commitments to the next level.
