**About the Role**

**Key ResponsibilitiesSorting & Categorization**
- Supervise the **sorting** of all received garments and accessories into the correct product categories (e.g., men’s tops, women’s shoes, kidswear, etc.)
- Ensure sorters understand and follow established category definitions and handling procedures
- Perform regular spot-checks to ensure high accuracy in the sorting process
- Flag unusual or unidentifiable items to Inventory and Receiving Managers for review

**Putaway Execution**
- Coordinate the **accurate and timely putaway** of all sorted stock into the correct bin locations, racks, or shelving units
- Assign putaway tasks to team members based on shift planning and workload
- Monitor and guide the use of location tracking tools (e.g., barcode scanners, Google Sheets, or WMS platforms)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized putaway environment at all times

**System & Location Accuracy**
- Ensure every handling unit or item is **logged to a physical location** in the system or manual tracker
- Support regular cycle counts and location audits to maintain inventory accuracy
- Report discrepancies or misplaced items to the Inventory Manager for investigation
- Contribute to updating and improving the slotting map or warehouse layout as volumes grow

**Team Supervision**
- Lead, motivate, and develop the putaway team to meet daily and weekly productivity targets
- Provide on-the-job training for new team members
- Maintain high standards of discipline, safety, and teamwork on the floor
- Escalate any recurring issues or bottlenecks to the Inventory Manager

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 2 years of experience** in a warehouse putaway, inventory control, or logistics role
- Proven experience supervising a team within a warehouse or DC environment
- Strong **computer literacy**, including working knowledge of spreadsheets, scanning devices, and digital location tools
- High attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining order accuracy and system integrity
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving, high-volume environment
- **Advantageous**: Experience working in a scaling business or high-growth operational environment
- **Physical fitness** to move stock and stand/walk throughout the day
