**Role purpose**

Responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote the organization's brand, products, services, or key messages. The primary goal is to ensure consistent and clear communication both internally within the organization and externally to various stakeholders, including clients, partners, media, and the public. The role of a Communications Specialist is crucial in shaping the organization's reputation, enhancing its visibility, and maintaining positive relationships with the target audience.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's objectives and values.
- Craft compelling narratives and engaging content for various channels, including press releases, social media, website, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels:
- Manage internal communications (memos, newsletters etc.)
- Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership
- Content creation of all internal initiatives, successes and business accolades / milestones
- Monitor and analyze communication efforts, providing regular reports on their effectiveness and making data-driven improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communications to ensure innovative approaches.
- Organize and promote events that enhance the company's visibility and reputation.- Innovative campaigning of business wide initiatives and milestones
- Design, execute and embed the usage of an internal communications policy.

**Competencies**:Experience, Skills and Behavioural Attributes**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in a Communications Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated success in crafting and executing successful communication strategies.
- Proficiency in leveraging various communication channels, including social media platforms, for brand promotion.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Highly organized, with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
