Top Catering concern based on the East Rand has a
**limited duration contract position immediately available for a Procurement Manager**. The purpose of the role is the manage the supply chain function of the group to ensure the sourcing and procurement of commodities and services according to logistics and organisational objectives.
A
**completed B.Tech in Supply Chain Management / Procurement Diploma is essential, coupled with 8 years experience in the sourcing and procuring of goods**. Completed Management Development Training or similar as well as HACCP auditors training as well as relevant SAP experience essential. KPI's include : Sourcing and Procurement Management; Interpret strategic logistics initiatives to define functional objectives, targets and action plans to ensure sourcing; and acquisition of goods according business requirements; Develop processes, models, and frameworks to facilitate the attainment of the logistic and operational objectives; to ensure the availability of goods at the right time, quality, and price; Manage the relationships with Internal & External stakeholders to support and control relevant processes to ensure the attainment of business objectives; forecast, plan and manage commodities according to targets and the business plan to ensure maximum availability as per client needs; Lead, co-ordinate and participate as a team member in cost saving projects, encouraging cross functional participation by the operations and internal departments as appropriate; Perform supplier and product research according to business objectives to maximize value add in the procurement process; Manage the tender process according to Company procedures to ensure best commercial result; Compile Contracts according to organisational legal and business requirements and initiate the supplier relationship to ensure delivery; Maintain contract to effect changes in the contractual agreement according to organisational and supplier needs; review and manage supplier performance and contractual compliance according to contract to identify non-conformance and to initiate corrective actions;
Manage and co-ordinate the supplier review process to ensure adherence to organisational policies, procedures and standards;
Ensure logistics processes and procedures adherence to legislative and organisational requirements related to the sourcing and acquisition functions; Analyse the area's financial needs to ensure effective budgeting according to functional objectives; Control expenditure according to budget and report deviations according to financial procedures; Manage resource allocation to ensure effective staffing levels and utilisation according to organisational needs; Manages subordinates' key performance areas by setting and monitoring adherence to performance targets;-take appropriate ER action to correct non-performance to ensure the attainment of set objectives; Prepares career development plans, appraises progress and provides training and coaching to develop subordinates to their full potential; SHEQ - Ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of SHEQ and HACCP related programs in the department; Stakeholder Engagement - Manages external service providers and clients by co-ordinating the implementation of projects and service level agreements.
