**Job Purpose**:
Performs specialized activities associated with the provision of an artistic service.

**Key Responsibility Areas**:

- Co-ordinates and controls the key performance areas and outputs.
- Evaluates the immediate and short term requirements.
- Attends to the design, layout and execution of artwork, both free hand and in graphic format,
using computer technology for the production of artwork for displays, exhibitions, etc.
- Produces slides, charts, pamphlets, posters, signage, certificates, etc.
- Provides technical advice and support with the mounting of health related displays and
exhibitions.
- Requisitions for materials required for the design and execution of artwork, arranges the
upkeep and repairs and specific maintenance requirements.
- Maintains an inventory of all equipment and a filing system of all prints, slides and art work.
- Verifies that completed artwork specification schedules comply with procedural requirements
and/ or applicable standards associated with relevant requests.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Diploma in Art and Graphic Design.
- Valid motor vehicle drivers license (Code B).
- 2 Years relevant experience.
