**JOB TITLE: Junior Art Director**

**KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE**

To assist in developing and executing creative concepts under the guidance of senior creatives. This role is about learning to interrogate briefs, contribute original visual ideas, and support the delivery of high-quality creative work across conventional and unconventional media.

Reporting Line:
Creative Director (or designated senior creative)
Mentorship from: Art Director / Senior Art Director

**RESPONSIBILITY / ACCOUNTABILITY**

**Creative**
- Support the creative team in crafting engaging and original art direction that meets the brief.
- Participate in brainstorms and concept development sessions.
- Assist in preparing presentations and visual layouts.
- Learn to present work internally with clarity and professionalism.
- Stay up to date with creative trends, design tools, and pop culture to ensure relevance and freshness.
- Continuously develop design and storytelling skills, with mentorship.
- Take part in internal creative reviews and contribute proactively to the agency’s creative culture.

**Business Management**
- Accurately track time and contributions to projects.
- Participate in internal projects and pitches as required.
- Represent the agency positively, internally and externally, in alignment with the company’s reputation and values.

**People/Collaboration**
- Work closely with Copywriters, Designers, Strategists, and Account Managers.
- Be open to feedback and committed to ongoing personal and professional growth.
- Show initiative in collaborating with others and supporting team success.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inspiring work environment.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
- 0-2 years of experience in a creative agency or equivalent setting (internships included).
- Portfolio demonstrating creativity, originality, and strong visual sensibility.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Strong foundational skills in art direction and design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Willingness to learn presentation and conceptual thinking skills.
- Basic understanding of production processes for print, digital, and video is advantageous.

**OPTIONAL EXTRAS**
- Interest or experience in areas such as illustration, photography, motion design, or social content creation.
