- Supervise the daily operations in the Cape Town Warehouse. The hub manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, manufacturing, dispatching, inventory levels, facilities, security, health, and safety. An individual who is able to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Dedicated, competent and strong leadership skills.- Responsibilities:
- Management of the daily manufacturing, dispatching and control inventory levels and conduct physical counts.- Oversee the security operations, implementing operational policies and procedures and ensure compliance with company, legislative and legal requirements.- Oversee budgets and financial reports. Create plans and forecasts that are built to fit future needs. Work to grow business by increasing the hub footprint.- Ensure administrative duties within the hub are in accordance with company guidelines. Manage hub cost and budget to ensure maximum profitability, manage monthly expenses.- Ensure excellent customer service by playing an active role in customer contact situations, to ensure and maintain healthy customer relationships. Maintain and improve customer service, sales performance, stock efficiencies.- Ensure Stock loss is minimised through compliance with security measures, stock handling procedures. Guide, manage and verify operations within the hub to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory legislations- Manage hub stock control to ensure that there is enough supply, ensure that a stock taking is done weekly and account for stock shortages.- Manage hub employees in terms of HR policy identify areas of development and coordinate training interventions, leave management, performance management, labour relations (disciplinary actions/poor performance), recruitment, retention and recognition, training, mentoring and coaching. Manage team member rosters/schedules considering busy periods, events and operational requirements.- Ensure that the branch is always neat and tidy according to company standards, ensure that the facilities are well maintained and in working condition. Live the values and lead as an example to the team.- Ensure superior customer service and customer experience. Pro-actively address customer complaints and ensure customer feedback is positive. Always create a customer centric culture within the branch and drive the philosophy of “service with a smile”.-
**Inherent Requirements**
- Requirements, Skills & Experience:
- 3 - 4 years’ experience in managing staff- Excellent understanding of management procedures- Valid drivers' license with own vehicle- Proficient computer skills- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.- Exceptional leadership, organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills- Navigate a high-pressure environment- Brilliant people management skills- Available to work extended hours**What Qualification**
