The job incumbent will Safely carry out preventive maintenance and repairs and automation of equipment in line with documented work instructions. Execute improvements and projects plant wide.
- Prioritize and perform the job as outlined in the Work Order and as per the detailed Task List.
- Complete Work Order on ONKEY with the correct time and all details to the required standard.
- Provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor/Foreman on any task where there is a difference between the task instruction and the job requirements.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on short comings, defects and further maintenance required to restore equipment to original safe operating condition.
- Order consumables and request critical spares used.
- Investigate and diagnose problems and breakdowns.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- N3/Matric with Math's and Science.
- N National Diploma Electrical Engineering Light current or Process Instrumentation.
- Trade Certification (qualified Instrumentation Artisan).
- 3-4 years’ experience in instrumentation as an instrumentation technician, post qualification in a heavy industrial environment.
- Computer literacy (Intermediate to advanced).
- Advanced PLC programming.
- SCADA Programming
- Driver’s license.

**Salary**: R450,000.00 - R452,670.00 per year
