Senior Talent Partner

Our hybrid approach offers flexibility with regular team connection in our Cape Town office 3 days per week._

**Role Overview**:
As a Senior Talent Partner, you’ll be responsible for hiring top talent in our new Cape Town office, with a core focus on Backend (PHP/Laravel), Frontend (Vue.js), Platform Engineers, and Data Engineers as well as non-technical roles such as Operations and Finance when needed. You’ll also take ownership of our employer branding efforts in Cape Town to help us become a go-to tech employer in the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for both technical and non-technical roles, from sourcing to offer stage.

- Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and craft compelling job specs.

- Source and engage passive talent across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.).

- Work with the People and Marketing teams to create and execute local employer branding campaigns (e.g., tech meetups, university outreach, online content).

- Maintain and improve ATS workflows and recruiting processes.

- Track key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline quality) and report on hiring progress.

**What We're Looking For**:

- 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a tech/startup environment.

- Proven track record in hiring software engineers, especially in PHP, Laravel, Vue, or related tech stacks.

- Experience hiring for Platform, DevOps, or data engineering roles is a strong plus.

- Solid understanding of the technical recruitment landscape in South Africa, particularly Cape Town.

- Comfortable using ATS platforms (we use Ashby) and sourcing tools e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter

- Experience or strong interest in employer branding, events, or content creation.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to pitch roles and the company culture persuasively.

**Bonus Points**:

- Background working in high-growth startups or scale-ups.

- Experience in hiring non-technical roles such as Operations and Finance.

- Experience working remotely with distributed teams.

- Creative eye for employer brand storytelling or social content
