Forklift Operator/storeman

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our Day and Afternoon Shift teams, to ensure the smooth and highly efficient day to day operations of our warehouse facility

Responsibilities include:

- Unloading/loading trucks, using computers to update inventory systems.
- Replying to requests from Production to supply product, using scanners to transfer product.
- Assisting team mates as required to ensure all aspects of material supply are maintained.
- Warehouse floor cleaning, area cleaning.
- You MUST have an Australian forklift licence and significant operational experience as well as spatial awareness
- You must have excellent literacy, numeracy and experience with computerised warehouse system
- You MUST HAVE a great attitude, you consider feedback a gift, and your current team enjoy working with you
- You believe personal safety product quality and food safety are paramount
- You are reliable and consistently ready to start work on time
- You need to work independently and be self driven to complete tasks on time
- You have a can-do attitude, will give any task a fair go and you have a willingness to learn and develop
- You have high attention to detail
- You are able to understand and follow all production procedures
- You have the right to work in Australia.
Other considerations:

- Day shift hours are 0600 - 1400 Monday to Friday
- Afternoon shift hours are 1400 - 2200 Monday to Friday
- As we’re located in an area where public transport doesn’t meet our hours of operation, you will need to have reliable transport

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Honeydew, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Certificate (preferred)
