This role is integral in ensuring that promotional leaflets, bonus buys, and pricing materials are accurately created, updated, and communicated. The Advertising Clerk will collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate change management processes and ensure consistent branding and messaging. By managing and archiving promotional content and coordinating administrative tasks, the Advertising Clerk will contribute to the overall success of the advertising strategy, enhancing customer engagement and driving sales in the retail environment.

- Manage and coordinate leaflets and promotional materials.
- Perform updates and amendments in the RMS (Retail Management System).
- Collaborate with buyers on change management processes.
- Load and verify bonus buys in SAP.
- Conduct SAP checks against the master SPAs (Special Purchase Agreements).
- Facilitate communication with service departments to ensure alignment.
- Maintain internal site group information for seamless operations.
- Brief and proofread price perception posters.
- Archive published leaflets for future reference.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the advertising team.
- Qualifications**Minimum Requirements**:
- Matric or higher education.
- Experience**Experience**:
- A minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in retail is advantageous, providing insight into the advertising role within the retail industry.
- Knowledge and Skills**Knowledge and Skills**
- Basic understanding of SAP; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Good time management and project management skills.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic proficiency in Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Fluent in English, with strong grammar and spelling abilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
