**Key Responsibilities**
- **Client Engagement**:_
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular interactions.
- Conduct needs analysis to understand clients’ financial goals and challenges.
- **Financial Planning**:_
- Offer affordable and suitable financial solutions, including life insurance, funeral cover, savings plans, and retirement products.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial plans.
- **Sales and Marketing**:_
- Achieve sales targets by identifying and engaging potential clients.
- Conduct presentations and workshops in communities to educate on financial literacy and available products.
- **Compliance and Administration**:_
- Adhere to regulatory requirements as per the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act and other governing bodies.
- **Client Support**:_
- Provide ongoing service to clients, including policy reviews and updates.
- Assist clients with claims, policy changes, and general inquiries.
- **Continuous Learning**:_
- Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes.
- Attend training sessions and meet CPD (Continuing Professional Development) requirements.
- **Key Competencies and Skills**_
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for clients with varying levels of financial literacy.
- Sales-driven with a focus on meeting client needs.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- **Minimum Requirements**:_
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
- NQF Level 5 qualification in Financial Planning or equivalent (preferred).
- Successfully completed RE5 (Representative Exam).
- Registered with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
- **Experience**:_
- At least 1-2 years of experience in financial planning, insurance sales, or a related field targeting the mass market.
- Knowledge of relevant financial products such as funeral plans, life cover, and savings options.
- **Additional Requirements**_
- Own transport and valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Proficiency in multiple South African languages is advantageous.
- Clear credit and criminal record.
