**Purpose of the Job**:
An exciting opportunity exist at our brand new Medirite Plus store for a beauty consultant. We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in retail and, in particular, the beauty industry. If you are passionate about health and beauty and enjoy working in a customer service environment then look no further.

Your main duties will consist of:

- Advising customers on products and prices and;
- Promoting and selling beauty products by means of rendering excellent customer service

**Job Objectives**:

- Ensure and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service by means of sales, merchandising and stock control of products.
- Balance sales and receipts according to company procedure.
- Stay up to date on all promotions and special offers and “Up-sell” promotional products and services according to company policy and procedures.
- Efficient processing of money market-related transactions.
- Handling of cash and cash-up procedures.
- Ensure that till points are tidy and clean at all times.
- Handle all customer queries.
- Advise customers on products and prices.
- If required, assist with any ad hoc duty, excluding dispensary.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Grade 12 qualification

**Experience**:
**Essential**
- At least 5 months point of sale / till point experience within a retail environment.
- Skincare, cosmetic and fragrance retail experience

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Computer literate
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound numeracy skills
- Bilingual, preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Strong administration skills
- Engaging and friendly personality
- Knowledgeable of payment procedures (e.g. cash, cheque, bank card, credit cards, coupons, vouchers)
- Knowledgeable of stock receiving procedures
- Solid understanding of customer service principles
