**Position
**Group Conduct Assurance Manager

**Job Purpose**
- Nedbank Group Conduct Risk seeks to employ a Conduct Risk Assurance Manager to support the Head of Conduct Risk Assurance with the performance of Conduct Risk Assurance activities.

**Job Responsibilities
**- CONDUCT RISK ASSURANCE_**_:_**
- Assist the Head of Conduct Risk Assurance in the development of the Group Conduct Risk Function and ensuring the Business is able to identify and focus their attention on conduct risk hotspots through regular testing of client outcomes;
- Contribute to the overall Conduct Risk assurance strategy and planning process;
- Perform fieldwork, as and when required, in line with the conduct risk assurance plan;
- Assist in tracking and monitoring the implementation of remedial/management actions arising from conduct risk assurance reviews and reports;
- Analysing stakeholder and marketplace threats and opportunities that may result in conduct risk and providing mitigation solutions that ultimately enhance Nedbank’s reputation and derive value;
- Assist in the monitoring of adverse media for conduct risk, and responding/leading appropriately;
- Ensuring the continuous, proactive and consistent monitoring of conduct risks for the Group;
- Review outcome of conduct risk practices of stakeholders by analysing, reviewing and assessing internal controls presented as mitigants;
- Monitor and analyse material conduct risks and control breakdowns through the facilitation of root cause analysis conducted by stakeholders and recommend appropriate corrective action and/or interventions.
- COLLABORATE WITH GROUP STAKEHOLDERS:_
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships with other assurance functions (eg. Group Compliance and Group Internal Audit);
- Engage with stakeholders formally through determining scope of work, understanding and identifying client needs;
- Provide advice, guidance, oversight to internal stakeholders and/or training on compliance to employees;
- Advocate the conduct risk agenda at relevant committees;
- Provide assurance to stakeholders on the state of compliance by reporting on how key risks are being managed, highlighting areas that require.
- PRODUCE REPORTS:_
- Compile and/or provide input into internal conduct risk reports and external disclosures by presenting relevant conduct risk reports for presentation to various internal and external committees.
- MANAGE PROCESSES:_
- Coordinate work with team members and other assurance providers throughout the bank;
- Ensure effective planning and adherence to timelines and actively manage disruptions or delays;
- Work with technical resources to continually enhance processes around coordinating, compiling, consolidating, and submitting reports;
- Address all requests for information from internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Postgraduate Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field

Minimum Experience Level
- Min 5 or more years in banking
- Technical skills and business acumen
- Risk management experience required: preparation of risk forum papers, risk monitoring and analysis, knowledge of governance and regulatory frameworks, implementation of limits and policies, reporting.
- Business and process analysis and familiarity with technology an advantage.
- Programming knowledge and skills (Microsoft PowerApps, SAS, R etc) an advantage
