**Role Overview**

We are looking for a detail-driven Technical drawing & Costing Specialist to join our growing team. This role combines technical drawing, material quantification, and cost management to help ensure every Arctic Ape sauna and pod is delivered to the highest standard while delivering exceptional service all while being on budget.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Technical Drawings
- Produce accurate 2D technical drawings for saunas, ice baths, and contrast therapy pods.
- Prepare manufacturing and assembly drawings that align with production requirements.
- Work closely with the design and operations team to refine layouts and specifications.
- Bill of Quantities (BoQ) & Material Planning
- Develop detailed BoQs for each project, ensuring all components and finishes are accounted for.
- Translate design drawings into precise material requirements for procurement.
- Create and maintain standardized drawings and order lists for frequently used components, so that repeat orders can be placed automatically without redoing costings each time.
- Maintain a database of material specifications and consumption patterns.
- Costing & Quotation Support
- Prepare costings for projects based on BoQs and supplier pricing.
- Support the sales team with accurate cost inputs for customer quotations.
- Track project margins and highlight areas for cost optimization.
- Ensure standardized order lists remain accurate, updated, and cost-effective.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work alongside project managers, fabricators, and suppliers to align drawings with real-world feasibility.
- Update and improve drawing standards and costing templates as Arctic Ape expands its product line.
- Stay up to date with materials, technologies, and methods relevant to sauna and wellness construction.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Experience in preparing technical drawings for construction, joinery, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of bill of quantities preparation and costing principles.
- High attention to detail and ability to balance precision with efficiency.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Background in architectural, interior, or industrial design is advantageous.
- Passion for wellness, design, or premium lifestyle products is a plus.
