CNC Operator

We are small family run business with 18 employees looking for a CNC Milling Programmer/Operator that
can set and Operate CNC Milling machines. We do not manufacture tens of thousands of repetitive
components; the task will be manufacturing specialized components needed for the products which we
manufacture and components to repair our client’s machines
You will be operating our fabrication department having access to; HAAS TM 2p Milling machine with a 4th
access attachment HAAS ST10 Lath, Bodor Fiber Laser, AMADA Vipros-357, Manual Lath, manual lath &
milling marching, Break Press and a Guillotine is also available. Access and knowledge on Ender-6 3D
printing machine would be advantageous. When it comes to repetitive jobs; staff may be available for you
to assign them the tasks of repeating the process - you would need good people’s skills
Essential:

- Able to design and develop on Fusion 360 along with tool path programming within Fusion
- Fully experienced with a HAAS Mill
- Fully experienced with a HAAS Lath
- Must be able to read and interoperate G-Code
- Must have had working experience on HAAS machines to be qualified for this position
- Must have machine setting and operating experience
- Experienced in the field of production and jobbing
- Measuring and marking out materials for fabrication. Setting up tools and machinery for

fabrication process. Monitoring fabrication process and adjusting settings when necessary.
- Assembling of fabricated parts
- Stock management and process of raw material to be cut by CNC machine
- Knowledge of AMADA, Fiber LASER, Ender-6 systems would be advantageous.
- Basic experience MIG & TIG welding
- Basic experience operating a Forklift for material handling
- Honesty is utmost of importance
- Attention to detail, a person who is meticulous and accurate need only apply
- Be able to work well under pressure, having sound common sense.
- Personal discipline to perform all assigned tasks and ensures product quality
- Complete QC checks on parts throughout the shift.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Willing to work overtime and on weekends when required.
- Must be able to speak English or Afrikaans
- Must have own transport / if a permanent post is appointed relocation to our area is a must
- On very rare occasions applicants may be possibly be required to work onsite and travel abroad

in regards to fitment of component or for information gathering
- Preferred non-smoker and non drinker

an advanced course.

**Job Type**: Permanent position which would require relocation to our area
However position would start with a 3 month contract, if you exceed our expectations employment would
be Full-time
Salary is negotiable - the final salary will be considered based off’ the employee’s performance,
experience and ability
