**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- A food technology degree or related qualification is essential for the role.
- Previous key account / sales experience having worked within the food industry calling on the food manufacturing industry is essential.
- Previous sales experience working within the flavour industry is preferred but not essential.
- Managing assigned key accounts, building relationships and growing accounts.
- Ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue and gross margin.
- Managing key accounts to ensure volume and market share growth of flavours in the food industry.
- Identifying market opportunities for flavours in the food industry.
- Developing specific sales strategies to ensure sales growth.
- Presenting and advising customers on product solutions.
- Generating monthly sales reports.
- Participating in sales meetings to share field problems, ideas to grow the business promotional actions.
- Involved in product development of flavours in view to grow and capture flavour market share.
- Identifying and analysing customer requirements and developing tailor made services to suit those needs.
