An established, and well rated investment team is looking to fill a key role, this being an Equity Trader. This is a Cape Town based opportunity.

This role provides a key trading function on the Equity Trading Desk relating to all Equity, Forex & PA trading requirements in both Local & Offshore markets.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Executing orders according to instruction, minimizing market impact.
- Tracking of market developments and sharing of relevant news.
- Responsible for managing all downstream processes relating to the trade cycle.
- Providing ad-hoc reports as requested.
- Providing assistance to the Derivative Trading Desk as required.

**Key requirements include**:

- BCom/BBusSci degree
- Completed JSE Registered Securities Trader exams
- Min 3-5 years experience as Equities Trader
- Proficiency in Bloomberg & related trading software
