**Special Gases Operator**

**What you will enjoy doing**
- As the Forklift Driver, you drive and operate the forklift
- You are responsible for the movement of cylinders to the required locations including the offloading and loading off vehicles and supply to and from the filling plants
- Prepare the cylinder by following the procedures to inspect, sort empty cylinders, de-valving, valve ammonia shells and painting amongst other cylinder maintenance activities
- Movement of cylinders using the pallet, load and offload the pallets to the designated areas, storing and stacking cylinders
- Monitor adherence to SHEQ procedures on site and report near misses, incidents and accidents, conduct pre-inspection on the forklift and its equipment
- Furthermore, you fill ammonia cylinders and barrels and complete ammonia filling log sheet

**What makes you great**
- A grade 12 qualification could be achieved by you, and you have gained at least 3 years' experience in cylinder filling, forklift driving and safe operating procedures
- A valid driver's license as well as a valid medical certificate will be required from an Occupational health practitioner
- Valid forklift license is required, and manual handling training will be an advantage
- A strong willingness to work shifts and overtime when required is present
