Ecommerce Manager

Role Purpose
Create, implement and support strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales and execeptional customer experience across key MMH e-commerce platforms, driving the objectives as a key enabler of business growth and success.
Requirements
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Business Management, Product Development or related qualification.
**Experience**:
- 3 - 5 years' experience in managing an eCommerce platform including new supplier onboardings,
merchandising, fulfilment process, payment gateway knowledge, retail or brand partnerships experience**.**
- Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry.
- Experience and understanding of Magento 2 capabilites (advantageous)
- Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting and content
management systems and processes.
- Proven track record of e-commerce Supplier and Partner relationships.
- Experience with leisure, lifestyle, travel and/or recreational market a plus.
**Knowledge**:
- Knowledge of and experience in e-Commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of and experience in digital channel commercialisation.
- Knowledge of and experience in working with and interpreting large volumes of data to influence strategy and business decisions.
- Excellent understanding of UX, web design, customer flow and web analysis.
- Confidence in traffic analysis, reporting tools and optimization.
- Knowledge of Attribution modelling, website speed optimisation, conversion management, sales journey optimisation, traffic analysis and reporting tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
**Internal Proceses: Internal Processes: Manage and grow the usage of e-commerce solution**
- Support the implementation of a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns and enables the Client Value Proposition of the business units within the MMH Group.
- Create and deliver on the strategy for the Multiply online shop to increase our digital accessibility and deliver more returns for clients and partners
- Create avenues to generate revenue through the e-commerce solutions
- Create and implement an after sales strategy to adequately support after sales service to clients and promotes our brand and partner brands.
- Oversee an efficient supply chain management function to ensure efficient delivery to our clients engaging with our e-commerce solutions.
- Oversee product offer and merchandising ensuring sales are maximized and content delivered effectively
- Create and deliver business cases to maintain and manage the products on the ecommerce platforms.
- Regularly review customers' journey through the site recommending adjustments to enhance conversion rates.
- Manage e-commerce platforms and reporting on E-commerce metrics on a daily basis.
- Conduct daily platform maintenance including and not limited to correcting product descriptions, product placement, new item posting, out of stock item removals ensuring that platform functionality meets and exceeds business expectations
- Conducting daily, weekly, monthly reconciliation and reporting of platform listings and related performance
- Support the supply management team in new and ongoing discussions with Suppliers and Partners across platforms
- Develop time and action calendars with processes and procedures to ensure actions are successfully completed.
- Develop and implement the assortment and inventory plan to match the sales plan. Work with other divisions to maximize inventory.
**Client: Engage with clients in a client centric manner**
- Deliver on client experience and the rights of consumers by providing fair services to clients engaging through the e-Commerce solution.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed
- Maintain a client service strategy to drive exceptional client service
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility
- Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.
**People: Effectively lead team**
- Oversee a team that delivers on platform operations, supplier and merchandise management, promotions and ongoing platform maintenance.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to align and optimise the platform features, leverage technology, platforms, and integrate partner channels to deliver on the strategy and drive programme effectiveness
