Toddler Teacher

The Amazing K Academy is looking to hire an attentive childcare teacher in their Owlets class. Students are aged 2 - 4years and all have learning delays and/or autism spectrum disorder.

Daily responsibilities will include feeding of children, toilet training, theme introduction, music lesson implementation, behaviour intervention, play-based learning, PE implementation and fine motor development as well as the implementation of hygiene protocols and general classroom management.
**Childcare teacher requirements**:

- National Senior Certificate (completed)
- Only South African citizens will be considered
- Educare Certificate or other Pre-school teaching qualification
- Desire to learn more about development delays and autism
- Child care professional (CCP) certification is advantageous
- Proven experience working as a childcare teacher
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred
- Clear criminal background check
- In-depth understanding of childhood developmen
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attentive, patient, kind, nurturing type person
- A valid South African ID number or work permit

**Half day position**:
7h30 - 2h30 Monday to Friday (with 4 paid holidays per year)
R4000 - R6000 per month

**Salary**: R4,000.00 - R6,000.00 per month
