**Requirements**:

- BSc Chemistry or similar
- 2 years practical experience (Laboratory and technical work in ink industry experience an advantage)

- Ink formulating and colour matching techniques.
- Good knowledge of printing processes (Litho-Offset, Intaglio (or Gravure), Letterpress, Screen and Flexographic).
- Technical knowledge of security ink and printing products

**Duties**:

- To provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for banknote printing.
- Technical customer site visits and Complete customer visit reports
- Update the troubleshooting guide for banknote printing.
- Quality Control and laboratory test and process optimisation
- H&S management for Laboratory
- R&D on materials and procedures
- Assist the Business Process Leader (BPL) to ensure products conform to group and client specifications.
- Assist BPL by liaising with Company CH R&D laboratory on any changes in formulations that may be used in new or current projects.
- Update and implement work instructions.
- Assist in the testing of inks.
- Manage the Company and SABN interlaboratory studies.
- Assist with troubleshooting of ink related problems.
- Complete customer visit reports.
- Assist with testing of new products.
- Assist in pre-production printing of new banknote series.
- Maintain and update the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) files for each workstation.
- Conducts internal training for employees on MSDS’s and QC laboratory related training.
