**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Must have a degree in Soil Science, Horticulture, Plant Physiology or Agronomy
- Must have a BASOS or be in the process of acquiring the certification
- Proven experience in field trials management will be required
- Must have knowledge of the methodology for assembling, conducting and harvesting fields trials
- The ability to deliver presentations in a clear and assertive way is important
- Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel
- Advanced MS Office skills, mainly Power Point and Excel, will be required
- Strong presentation techniques and good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are important
- Establishing relationship with customers and employees.
- Accomplishing periodic visits to distributors and customers, aiming to understand the needs and offer solutions after analysis and propose solutions aligned with the Agronomist and the Regional Manager.
- Assisting with prospecting new customers in the region and making an initial analysis with support of the Agronomists and Regional Manager.
- Supporting the distributor management with the guidance of the Agronomists and the Regional manager.
- Assisting the Agronomist and the Regional manager with the execution of the action plan within the quality standards established by the company.
- Ensuring quick service deliveries within the necessary time aiming to increase sales and satisfy customers.
- Contributing to the flow of information between customers and the company, anticipating problems and actively participating in discussions of alternative solutions with agronomists, Regional Manager, Management, and departments of the company.
- Submitting timely reports (activities, visits, and flows) and prior weekly schedule of activities to ensure business strategy.
- Performing capacity building actions for the distribution system, end users and influencers in their region of operation, aligned with agronomists and the Regional Manager.
- Ensuring the efficiency and performance of products in the field to increase sales, by offering after sales service.

**Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
