**Tactical&OperationalTasks**:
Procuring direct & indirect material to ensure maximum production attainment
Gather adequate information on required materials and services and ensure thorough understandingof specifications
Sourcing on the cloud-based solution (Ariba Platform) to negotiate the most cost-effective contractsand deals
Supplier Lifecycle Management and Performance (SLP), which includes, instating Supplier requests,Vendor Creation and Supplier Management on the platform
Capturing of long term contracts on the Ariba Platform
Create Purchase Requisitions into the SAP system to indicate the sourcing project
Procuring to the correct levels to ensure no risk of out of date products/FIFO/ space utilization
Utilizing production plan / forecast against stock on hand & related inbound receptions
Run Weekly Material Requirements Plan in line with safety stock models
Liaise with the Operational team on a daily to ensure transparency and no stock out situations
Liaise with Suppliers to help support long-term goals by building a strong and trusting relationship
Follow-up and assist on all workflow related challenges
**Monitoring&Reporting**:
Weekly reporting on SOH (Stock on hand) against production requirements
Weekly expediting of orders placed
Supplier Evaluations to be done monthly (OTIF deliveries/ pricing/ specifications/ timeousresponding to queries)
Quality&FoodSafety
Support HACCP program in procurement department & Wilmar S.A (Pty) Ltd
Manage quality issues & act accordingly to maintain an optimal supply chain in terms of quality &supply
Safety
All PPE to be worn in compliance with site & Food Safety controls & legal requirements
Enforce & follow safety rules of all internal policies5. Environment

**QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES**:
**Qualifications**:
Diploma in Logistics, Supply Management, Business, Finance or related.
**Experience**:
6-12 months Purchasing/Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing industry.
Hands on experience with purchasing software (SAP) and ARIBA - (Advantage).
Experience in working within a FMGC company.
Between 1 - 3 Years
