DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
**Learner experience**:

- Work with the Subject Specialist and Learning Facilitators to develop remediation strategies based on data insights.
- Support with the development of work plans.
- Support faculty by communicating updates to the Student Success team.
- Populate assessment analysis documents.

**Task-management**:

- Meet regularly with the Subject Specialist and Learning Facilitators in your team to identify student progress, trends, and at risk-students.
- Regularly attend learner progress and intervention tracking meetings.
- Manage the posting of announcements to the online campus, and respond to discussion forum posts made by learners.
- Act as a substitute for Learning Facilitators.

**Community of practice**:

- Engage in lesson observations with fellow Learning Facilitators, Subject Specialists, and your Lead to maintain quality assurance of instruction in line with Valenture’s Teaching and Learning approach and to enable personal and peer improvement through feedback, coaching and mentorship.
- Engage in the systemic integration of scientific educational knowledge, didactics (or pedagogical content knowledge), and practice to enable teachers to enhance their pedagogical thinking, evidence-based decision-making, and engagement in the professional community of educators.

**Requirements**:
**Key requirements for the role**:

- BEd or PGCE
- Experience teaching the CAPS or IEB curriculum will be an advantage.
- Adept in a technological environment.
- Operationally savvy
- Must be comfortable working remotely and independently.
- A good feel for working with assessment data and operational data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent administrative and reporting skills.
- Stable internet connection required.
- Police clearance required.

**Tech requirements**:

- A second screen
- Experience with Delphi
- A stable internet connection (minimum of a 20mbps line).
