**The tasks you'll perform**
- Create intelligent P&ID’s in Autodesk Plant 3D, Bentley Openplant, Siemens, COMOS.
- Setup and maintain link with 3D Pipe Modelling software.
- Populate equipment data in the database.
- Generate standard deliverables from the database
- Generate custom database queries and reports
- Prepare drawings for checking, squad checking and issue; per Project requirements.
- Update redlines to show As-built status of drawings.
- Ensure that drawings comply with all relevant project standards and/or ruling statutory authority applicable to assigned projects.
- Ensure that all CAD files produced strictly comply with necessary ADP Group, Draughting and CAD project procedures.
- Ensure that all files produced strictly comply with the ADP Group defined and project CAD procedures and are uploaded to the relevant folders in the Document Management System.
- Comply with all Company policies, procedures and instructions.

**The expertise you'll bring**
- **_ Certificate, diploma or degree in engineering, CAD drafting or related field. _**:

- **_A minimum of 2+ years of experience in using object orientated database CAD software. _**:

- **_Proficient in intelligent object-orientated database software and 2D CAD software(e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, Siemens, COMOS, etc)_**:

- **_ CAD Database Configuration and Administration experience. _**:

- **_South African Citizen or Permanent Resident_**:

- **_ Cape Town based_**:

- Extremely well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
- Display the core values and ethos of the business.
- Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Provide mentoring and identify avenues of professional development and succession planning for personnel within your business unit.
- Capacity to delegate appropriately.
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
