**Business Continuity Consultant - 24 Months Project**

**Understanding Business Environment**
- Embedding Business Continuity through Competence, Awareness and Training
- Conduct Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) & develop a Report at executing stage
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) & develop a Report at executing stage

**Develop resilience strategies**
- Develop Business Continuity (BC) component strategies and solutions at executing stage

**Develop Business Continuity plans**
- Develop Business Continuity plans at executing stage

**Implement business continuity elements**
- BCMS test reports at executing stage
- BCMS Status reports at executing stage
- BCMS review process at executing stage
- BCMS maintenance plan at executing stage

**BCM governance and culture**
- Development BCMS framework at executing stage
- Alignment of policy and governance structures at executing stage
- BCMS change management process at executing stage
- BCMS roles and responsibilities at executing stage

**Skills Transfer**
- Imparting knowledge and tools to all Business Continuity role players to continue with implementation after the project.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Recognized Tertirary Degree in relevent field, ICT or Business Management/Continuity
- Valid ISO 22301/CBCI certification - **Compulsory**:

- +7 Years of experience in designing, implementing & providing training on BCM - Compulsory

**OVERALL PROJECT OUTCOME / DELIVERABLES**
- Signed off Business Continuity Policy, Strategy and Plan
- Business impact analysis and report
- Business Continuity Risk Assessment and report
- Business Continuity Plan, which includes amongst others crisis and/or disaster management, pandemic, systems recovery, emergency response plans respectively.
- Business Continuity Communication Plan, which include amongst others.
- Awareness Programme to key stakeholders (as nominated) and senior managers conducted.
- Formal training of business continuity coordinators after the conclusion of the project
- Skills transfers programme for the personnel responsible for implementing the BCM function.
- Monthly and Quarterly project progress reports
- Final closeout report

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- Business Continuity Management: 7 years (required)

License/Certification:

- ISO 22301/CBCI (required)

**Location**:

- East London, Eastern Cape (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
