**Location**: Preferably JHB or Cape Town

With a global presence and an expert multi-lingual team fluent in over eleven languages, CS Global Partners is seeking a PR and Communications Manager to join our vibrant Global Marketing Team.

**Job description**

The role is suited to someone with proven experience in public relations and campaign / project administration and has a passion to work on creative communication campaigns. Experience with global campaigns is ideal.

You’ll be a key part of the global marketing team, with an opportunity to contribute to the tone of voice of a leading brand, and develop both internal and external content, across multiple platforms and formats.

No two days in this role will be the same. It is a fast-paced and dynamic role with a variety of tasks that will also require liaising with journalists, bloggers, international and regional publications to secure placements and op-ed.

Writing press releases, newsletters, campaign content, product descriptions, media monitoring, writing, editing and proofing publications in print and online.

**RESPONSIBILITIES** will include but not be limited to:

- Securing placements and op-ed pieces at international & regional publications
- Liaising and building relationships with journalists & bloggers.
- Researching publications, journalists and bloggers internationally and regionally within our key markets
- Strategic planning and targeting of publications to align with marketing and PR strategy
- Write original copy daily for multiple brands
- Google news ranking knowledge and SEO is a must
- Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results
- Reporting on PR activities
- Handling the administration of the PR department.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
- Ability to build relationships and leverage your network
- Ability to develop targeted plans based on regional and international strategy
- Drive, competence, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong administrative skills, in terms of managing deadlines and reporting
- Experience with using Meltwater is ideal
- Ability to cope with pressure
- Creativity, imagination, and initiative
- Good teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Business awareness and a good knowledge of current affairs
- A good understanding of politics and the financial industry
- Previous experience with international PR ideal
- Previous experience in politics or government highly desirable.
