Strategic Initiaves
**Requirements**:

- Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification ( preferably a B-Degree or

National Diploma in Law)
- A valid driver’s licence
- 3-5 years relevant experience

Key Performance Areas

of high-level professional knowledge coupled with in depth
experience to develop and implement a range of initiatives,
support the development of policies initiatives systems and
procedures within the Directorate and to ensure compliance with
the current legislative framework.
- Assist to coordinate and facilitate working groups within the

department and where required, across the directorate for the
development and implementation of standardized projects,
processes, systems and procedures.
- Assist to coordinate and facilitate the Directorate’s Integrated Risk

Management (IRM) portfolio.
- Identify and define the immediate, short and long term plans for the

Unit.
- Ensure that the City’s EPIC or any other Safety & Security

Technology is utilised, properly led, directed and coordinated in the
branch.
- Assist to manage training and skills development and the transfer of

skills and knowledge.
