**Senior Marketing Manager**
- The Student Hub, an educational technology start-up that specializes in developing innovative educational platforms within South Africa, is looking to fulfill the role of Marketing Manager._
- The incumbent will lead The Student Hub’s marketing team and report directly to the Head of Commercial Growth. _
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and improving marketing efficiencies throughout the business unit by creating, implementing, and monitoring marketing strategies in support of The Student Hub’s goals.

This position requires an individual with a creative approach, the desire to drive growth within a start-up culture, and the ability to partner with the leadership team to build a scalable revenue engine.

We’re looking for a passionate, proven leader who has a firm grasp of the latest digital and direct marketing strategies, paired with brand development experience gained in both B2C and B2B environments.
- The education technology industry.
- The tertiary education sectors.
- Working in the start-up space.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing and owning ongoing strategy for all aspects of marketing across The Student Hub’s product verticles and partner programs.

Accountability for delivery against annual financial goals related to enrolment growth and efficiency.

Working collaboratively with various internal teams to identify and implement new marketing programs and tactics, based on the development of ROI-based business justification.

Being accountable for forecasting enrolment performance vs. goals.

Assuming demand generation ROI responsibility for a portfolio of undergraduate programs and short courses.

Leading the development of all brand positioning, messaging, and creativity across The Student Hub’s product portfolio.

Ensuring consistent brand expression through all stakeholder touchpoints, and maintaining the high brand standards of our academic partners.

Developing results-driven strategies to drive product adoption, working with various internal teams to improve conversion rates through nurture strategies such as events, performance marketing, content marketing, and the like.

Working with the full marketing department, senior management team, and academic partners to optimize both short-term opportunities and long-term brand building/growth opportunities, including the cross-selling and upselling of products across The Student Hub portfolio.

Serving as the voice of marketing across all functions.

The ability to convey complex marketing topics to a wide audience, with an eye toward influencing key internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring exceptional partner relationship management across the team, leading by example.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (post-grad preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years experience, directly related to the duties and responsibilities expected of a marketing manager.
- A minimum of 3 years of digital marketing experience.
- Management experience in a student-recruitment-focused environment is advantageous.
- Excellent computer skills, including HubSpot and Microsoft Office, and SaaS products.
- Proven ability to motivate a team to achieve defined results that exceed goals, objectives, and expectations.
- Strong leadership skills: maintaining a professional and productive team atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner.
- Ability to develop other people’s potential/talents.
- Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm, and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.
- Experience building a successful go-to-market strategy and marketing plan in a scaling environment.
- Ability to optimize a marketing budget
- Knows the numbers, and focuses on constant and never-ending improvement.
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding marketing targets.
- Understanding of lead generation strategy and tactics, and use of tactics to create preference and drive conversions on the path to purchase.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing technologies and new developments in the space.
- Ability to understand consumer needs and translate them into effective marketing messages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in interpreting data.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a high-performing team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: From R45,000.00 per month
