Credit Controller

Responsible, together with the rest credit control team, to collect outstanding monies.
Uploading of invoices and resolution of queries on customer Portals where applicable.
Keep debtor's days in line with company standard.
Responsible for risk management in setting and maintaining realistic credit limits per customer.
Responsible for maintenance of master data changes.
Responsible for balancing of the debtors sub-ledger to the general ledgers.
Review and processing of credit notes.
Actively involved in the month end closing process within tight deadlines.
Actively involved in budget and forecast processes.
Assisting staff with general queries.
Responsible for monthly reporting.
Setting and reviewing of branch collection targets.
Drafting and issuing of bank guarantees as well as follow-up of expired guarantees for cancellation.
Inter-company / cross border accounts management.
Experience in processing journals, payments and bank allocations.
Adhere to all SHE and housekeeping requirements.
Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times.
Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, numerical fluency, basic accounting knowledge, ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, able to manage difficult customers and honour customer commitments, time management skills essential, deadline driven, demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail, able to work under pressure, positive and dynamic attitude in a fast-paced environment, willingness to work overtime should there be an operational requirement.
