**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**
- Operations Specialist.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Information Technology or alternatively a qualification related to IT Technical Support
- Experience in IT Infrastructure Management and/or Operations/1st/2nd Level Support
- Experienced in LINUX (Linux Support - operations and administration)
- Optional: Experience in IT middleware platforms/architectures based on Unix/Linux OS
- Optional: Experience with Output Management Solutions
- Spooling Systems
- Document Composition
- Optional: Experience with Exstream and/or VPSX solutions

**ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS**
- Good Knowledge of output management solutions on Unix/Linux operating systems, for example:

- Print Spooling Systems
- VPSX
- CUPS
- GROUP Plotclient PriPlo
- GROUP PlotServer gXnetplot
- Easycopy and EasyConvert
- Including the different input, output and filter scripts and their individual configurations
- Document Generation Software
- Exstream
- Basic Knowledge of the following:

- Windows Server, Active Directory
- SAP Output Management
- Database technologies - Oracle/PostgreSQL
- Printer and printer languages (PCL,PS,ZPL)
- Business processes requiring enterprise output management
- Operation Tools: SC-Venus, CMDB, ConnectIT
- Monitoring tools: Systems Management Portal (NAGIOS)
- Extensive knowledge of ITSM BMC Remedy or Service NowTicketing tool

**ROLE**:

- Operational and Support tasks of the Enterprise Services Output Management solution
- GROUP KWOM & CAPPO
- VPSX and CUPS Print Spooling
- Exstream Document Composition
- GROUP Plotclient PriPlo
- GROUP PlotServer gXnetplot
- Easycopy and EasyConvert
- Including the different input, output and filter scripts and their individual configurations.
- Perform all tasks in a 100% agile manner according to the agile guidelines agreed by the department.
- Awareness of agile roles defined within the environment.
- Maintaining a high awareness of user needs regarding output management requirements.
- Keeping deep knowledge about underlying GROUP infrastructure master solutions, e.g Unix, Storage (SAN, NAS etc.(mounting and unmounting of Shares, Share credentials).
- Interacting with other IT architects as needed to ensure fitting infrastructure solutions.
- Understanding and incorporating all relevant IT security guidelines of the Group.
- Provide or support all necessary GROUP IT documentation, e.g. Operations Manuals)
- Ticket creation and resolving requests for incident management, change management and problem management and ITIL support processes at Enterprise level.
- Ticket creation, co-ordination and communication with service groups responsible for failures affecting Output Management Infrastructure daily operations.
- Adhere to set SLAs for service delivery of Operational pre-requisites.
- Maintain Output Management landscape to required supportable Software version levels.
- Support Output Management Dev/Maint Team with required Projects.
