As a security expert, he/she is responsible for implementing the group's security policies at local level, supporting security training for employees and coordinating with the Group's Security Department. He/she may also be responsible for Crisis Management as Crisis Correspondent.

**Responsibilities**:

- Is the SME for all matters related to security and safety for the business. Responsible & accountable for creating, deploying and reporting on a Africa security & safety roadmap.
- Is the liaison between the HRD, CEO & other critical stakeholders on all topics related to security & safety.
- Strengthens the level of security culture by contributing to staff training and awareness-raising initiatives.
- Keeps security management indicators up to date.
- Implement rules relating to the security of employees (local contracts, international assignees as expatriates, graduates, etc.), business travel and the protection of visitors.
- Implements locally global security policies and guidelines, based one local risk assessment.
- Ensures the implementation of security and evacuation plans in high-risk countries.
- Drives local security service providers and coordinates relations with local security bodies.
- Supports relations with French and other foreign consular authorities of interest to the affiliates.
- Contributes to the ongoing monitoring and updating of data relating to the countries in the area of responsibility, the identification of threats and the emergence of weak signals.
- Reports security incidents and initiates the relevant investigations;
- Participates, when required, to the coordination of the Security Correspondents network, training them and providing them with tools dedicated to staff security.

**Responsibilities**:

- Extensive knowledge of the security industry and related fields within an Africa context with special focus on SA & Nigeria. Should include an extensive African network which can be accessed and leveraged, especially in a crisis.
- Experience working with expats and expat related security matters.
- Security & Safety SME within the Africa remit.
- Knowledge and references: mastery of international and local geopolitics, strong knowledge of threats and safety issues, good knowledge of crisis management processes.
- Skills and tools: mastery of communication and data protection tools.
- Soft skills: relational skills, representation and self-control skills, great adaptability, imagination, reactivity, and capacity for autonomous action.
- Availability in case of a crisis.
- Skills and tools: good knowledge of security tools and Apps.
- A calm demeanour, with the ability to lead effectively in a crisis.

Pay: R1 000 000,00 - R1 300 000,00 per year
