HR Officer

An established and well-known national company based in Century City has an excellent opportunity for an HR Officer to join their dynamic team. Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Advertise new company positions
Setting up interviews and interview new employees
Manage the employee filing system (manual & electronic)
Keep track of leave, employee illness, late employees.
Act as the first point of contact for all personnel queries while directing serious cases to the higher management
Assist with registering new employees on Sage payroll
Record and transcribe minutes from meetings and hearings
Assist with the induction & on-boarding process
Wide variety of other generalist HR, IR and payroll related administration
Be part of the onboarding sessions of new employees
Assist with administration of weekend work/ overtime and allocation of this to our system
Assist with time & attendance administration and capturing during week
General HR administrative assistance when needed
Be able to know how to compile written warnings
Know process of CCMA and be able to represent company
Know process of correct dismissal
Managing and participating in various HR projects and initiatives
Conduct a wide variety of routine HR administrative tasks
**Requirements**:
Matric
Diploma / Certificate in Human Resources
2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & Sage
Good understanding of human resource principles
Provide a professional, functional and strong administrative support
Good relationship building skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Team player and deadline driven
Meticulous attention to detail
**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
