Shift Leader Johannesburg North-Gauteng ~ Ekhurhuleni-Gauteng Job Purpose Provide direct supervision to ensure the job run smoothly. The duties include covering for absences from co-workers and managing absence - leave of employees including resource management, collaboration and allocation. This is a leadership role with responsibilities to manage and organise tasks and ensure shift works efficiently and effectively. Duties shared with other team members on shift, i.e.operations, delegating task, troubleshooting, reports and other administrative tasks. Plans and coordinates weekly and daily requirements for the manufacturing department. Ensures adherence to company procedures, policies and regulatory requirements. Required Learning - 2-3 years' supervisory experience Manufacturing Environment in Pharma industry - Similar or related Degree or Diploma in Production management or Business Management - Pharmaceutical cGMP knowledge advantageous - Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, Oracle preferred Core Competencies - Managing performance and productivity - Promoting process improvement - Staffing, planning and people management - Proactive approach in day-to-day activities - Good interpersonal skills, good with people - Ability to adhere to company policies, principles and values - Troubleshooting acumen - Good written and verbal reporting and results driven - Ability to follow instructions and procedures - Coping with pressure and setbacks - Positive responsible attitude, "Can do" attitude - Ability to drive a winning team, delivering results and meeting customer expectations
