**DIRECT SALES CONSULTANT- PTA**

One of the largest private Medical Aid companies in SA. They have been established for 20 years and are striving to be #1 in SA.

**Purpose**

Responsibility and accountability for the positioning of the company as the scheme of choice for prospective members and successfully selling to the member the correctly matched option. The job has to be performed in line with regulations and treating customers fairly.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Increase in Company’s Membership base: Growth in Membership**_
- Acquire new principal members
- Ensure that a healthy risk pool is attracted to the scheme
- Ensure that members are sold an appropriate option that will increase their customer lifetime
- Retain 80% of members
- Must in all communication with a client: act honourably, professionally and with due regard to the convenience of the client.
- Must act with due regard to the best interest of the client which must have priority over any interest of the consultant
- FAIS: Holistic needs analysis and appropriate advice given
- Gather appropriate information
- Obtain all the necessary client information and identify the needs, risk profile and objectives of the client
- FAIS: Record keeping and following process
- Send FAIS disclosure document to all clients at first contact.
- FAIS: Leads Management System (LMS)
- Load new leads that are not captured on the LMS
- Capture all client communication
- FAIS Quality Assurance
- Measurement of: Professionalism, telephone etiquette, soft skills. Accuracy of factual information provided. LMS updated as per process. Record keeping on shared drive.

**Experience, Qualifications & Skills**
- **Grade 12 with Mathematics/ Mathematics Literacy is an inherent requirement**
- FAIS Regulatory Exam 5 for Representatives
- Relevant Degree / Diploma
- 2-3 years sales experience in a Medical Scheme or Health Service Benefits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Sales Consultant: 2 years (required)
