**Main Responsibilities**
- Disbursement of Advances
- Ability to carry out team’s functions and activities covering OD limit maintenance, loan disbursement, Bonds and guarantee booking, pre liquidation of loans etc.
- Ensure strict compliance with all service standards and Service Level
- Agreements (SLAs) based on the Bank’s service delivery and customer segmentation model
- Ensure all terms and conditions of credit approvals have been met and documents are validated prior to loan disbursement.
- Ensure loans are disbursed in line with the Bank’s approval limits / credit mandate hierarchies
- Ensure prompt processing disbursements in line with the Bank’s general turnaround time standards
- Liaise with front-office, middle-office and market facing groups to ensure mínimal customer complaints and provide timely resolution of service and customer issues
- Perform daily call over of transactions and ensure prompt resolution of exceptions.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, processes and controls
- Ensure strict adherence to policies, procedure and controls of the Bank
- Prepare relevant unit reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by Unit head or Team lead, Credit operations.

**Business Planning/ Decision Making**
- Interact with the credit risk department to understand business strategy and requirements.
- Implementing solutions in respect of business requirements with the relevant resources.
- Responsible for short-term and long-term operational planning in respect of existing and emerging technology.

**Job Requirements**

**Academic Knowledge**:

- Matric
- Commerce / risk management three year qualification

**Work Experience**:

- 3-5 years in credit operations within a Banking or financial services industry

**Skills / Specialized Know How**:

- Good understanding of banking operations (domestic and international operations)
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Bank’s credit policies processes and procedures
- Good understanding of retail credit products, analysis and assessment
- Strong knowledge of credit and operations risk management
- Good documentation and process management skills
- Understanding of company's retail strategy, customer segmentation and service delivery requirement

**What Qualification**
- Commerce / Risk Management three year qualification
