Expand theRMN commercial activities and generate revenue streams for sustainable financial growth
Recruit, manage and mentor and performance manage the new business development and the client service team
Establish sales management processes, monitor the performance of commercial activities using key metrics, and prepare reports for executive management
Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
Accountable for the overall sales performance, understanding core challenges affecting sales performance and implementing holistic changes that measurably remedy the core challenges identified.
Accountable for all sales performance and revenue targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, forecasting and pipeline building, and budget planning.
Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.)
Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met and indirectly drive profitable growth
Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (marketing, retail buying, BI data, legal, finance, and product teams, etc.)
Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
Commercialize the product offering, own, update and maintain the Advertising Rate Card.
Support and advise on the productization of the product offering, packaging, and monetization of the advertising services.
Identify emerging opportunities and market shifts while being fully aware of competition, devising strategies to win market share and be the leader in Africa for Retail Media Advertising.
Work with the advertising product team to build & commercialize bespoke advertising solutions and create improvements/efficiencies to the sales processes through technology.
Ensure all material and interactions presented to customers are of a world-class standard
BSc/BA/MA in business administration, marketing, finance or related field
Executive-level client management experience
Minimum of 7 years experience in a sales role within a Digital Marketing/performance marketing, Advertising space
Minimum of 5 years managing a team
Experience in an eCommerce and or Retail environment
Between 5 - 7 Years
