Mazars Gauteng is recruiting for an IT Auditor in the IT Audit department that will have a specific focus on training, learning and development. The job will include compiling files, completing reviews of systems, identifying risks and executing audit programs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Compile a permanent file (standing information about the client) for clients
- Preliminary reviews of systems and business processes
- Documentation and flowcharting of business processes and systems
- Identify risks as input into business risk identification process
- Conduct Information Technology General Controls Reviews (ITGCRs)
- Prepare audit files with standard information (work papers and reports)
- Execute audit programs and record work done
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to address root cause of audit findings
- Manage individual productivity (include completion of timesheets)

**Minimum Requirements**:

- BCom degree with auditing majors
- Completed or currently studying towards CISA qualification
- 0 - 3 years’ experience in an IT audit / financial auditing environment beneficial
- Able to work and cope under pressures
- Clear and effective communication
- Meet deadlines
- Initiative / pro-active

- Information gathering and problem analysis skills
- Quality and detail orientation
- Able to demonstrate and exercise sound judgment skills
- Eager to learn and accept new challenges
